CheckEventLog - Event Category?

Hi, I am trying to filter events by Category but EventCategory? or event-category do not seem to be valid filter arguments. How can I do this?

    humm...

    I would say "you cant".

    Could you describe the scenario? Since eventlog categories have different meanings it is kind of hard to add support for them in a generally usefull way.

    The "Category" is a discrete field in the Event record, just like "Source".

      Are you sure? from what I can tell it is supposed to be an identifier which has meaning in regard to the provider. Ie a number which would be a string when looked up from the provider?

      But maybe you want to match against just the number?
