NSClient++ Help (#1) - String_Lenth [SOLVED] (#555) - Message List
Hi,
I'm need to change string_lenth parameters. Following docs and forum I see that it's necessary to recompile nsclient before ... I don't no how to do this.
Could you help me to do it ? Why recompil is necessary to change this parameters, it's not so user friendly ...
Thanks, Kinai

Is the related to the size of performance data? Do you use nagios? If so, it will not help to increase the size on the nsclient size without recompiling also nagios. There is a max limit on that side to. The best way is to truncate the output. Not sure if truncate is supported on checkprocess though.

No, performance data are disabled because i have an issue on w2k8 x64 (http://nsclient.org/nscp/discussion/topic/551). This is needed for checkeventlog.
I do some test with the new checkeventlog ... wait and see ...

You need to recompile check_nrpe not NSClient++.
