monitorin memory in a given time

Hi all,

this is my first question in this forum so first of all thanks for your great job :). About my question... I would like to know if it is possible to monitor the memory (checkMem) in a given time like checkCPU. Not the current value.

checkMem has not a "time" parameter so I suppose that it's not possible. Anyway, could it be possible to make an script to obtain that value from OS? Can this information be be obtained from the OS?

Another solution I'm thinking of is to use nagios soft and hard states to get a similar effect than the "time" parameter.

Thanks,

Christian

A plan for the future (no ETC) is allow the "PDH checks" to be generic and then it would be possible. As is now it is not really possible.
