NSClient++ Help (#1) - WMICheck Error (#172) - Message List
Hi,
i get the following error when i set up an WMICheck with "Select * from win32_Processor" as argument.
WMIQuery failed: ExecQuery? failed: (reason is: unknown error: 1: Unzulässige Funktion. ):failed to lookup error code: 2147749896( reson: 317)
Does anybody know that problem?
I installed the NSClient++-Win32-0.3.2 and made the check with the Inject Command from the Client.
Everything else works great with the client only with the WMICheck I´ve my problems. If someone have a tutorial with examples for the WMICheck and Nagios i would be very happy.
Thanks

hello, did a quick check and the error message "should" have included your query so I think you have defined the query wrong, could you post exactly how you have defined the check?

Hi,
I thought I defined it in my first post.
I only installed the NSClient and then opened with the right click event the Inject Command.
There I only wrote the argument "Select * from win32_Processor" and start it.
That´s it.

that wont work I think.
the syntax for the wiki:CheckWMI/CheckWMI is more advanced check the wiki page.
CheckWMI MaxCrit=3 MinWarn=1 "Query:load=Select * from win32_Processor"
