NSClient++ Help (#1) - PDHCollector error (#141) - Message List

PDHCollector error

Hi.

I install NSCLIENT++ in machines with Win NT and appears this erro in the NSC.log:

error:.\PDHCollector.cpp:206: Failed to query performance counters: \System\% Total Processor Time: PdhGetFormattedCounterValue? failed: -2147481642: A counter with a negative denominator value was detected.

When i run "Nsclient++ -noboot Checksystem debugpdh" appears the message:

Service enumeration failed: PdhEnumObjects? failed when trying to retrieve size of object buffer

Anyone can help me?

    The first one is strange, does PDH work at all on the box? Does any checks work? (maybe you just had one bad reading?)

      Thanks, but when i restart the machine it works. Now I´m having another problem:

      DHCP UNKNOWN 05-08-2008 09:04:170d 16h 21m 30s 3/3 Warning: This plugin must be either run as root or setuid root.

      Do you now how to resolve this?

        humm.. where do you get this error?

        does not look like it comes from nsclient++ ?
