NSClient - ERROR: Could not get data for 5 perhaps we don't collect data this far back?

I'm running Nagios 3.0.3 server running on RHEL 5.2, with a Windows 2003, SP2, running NSClient++ - 0.3.5.2 2008-09-24 client. Errors in the Nagios GUI are this:

NSClient - ERROR: Could not get data for 5 perhaps we don't collect data this far back?

Any thoughts?

By the way, this is when checking CPU Load.

    I'm also getting other errors:

NSClient - ERROR: Failed to get PDH value (when it checks for memory usage). and NSClient - ERROR: Could not get value (when it checks for uptime)

These exact three errors appear on 4 hosts. Checking the C: and E: drives work, as well as the ping check and the NSClient++ Version check. Help!

I'm also having the same problem:

    # NSClient - ERROR: Could not get data for 5 perhaps we don't collect data this far back? Memory Usage NSClient - ERROR: Failed to get PDH value. Uptime NSClient - ERROR: Could not get value #

Couldn't get into debug mode, and generate a log, but running the command in the console, gave a message that the counters are not going well. Must have something with the windows machine performance counters.

Having excact the same problem. Running on an older W2k Box.

Usually this can be solved by rebuilding the counter indexes.

A good way to check waht is "wrong" is launching the client in "test" mode ie: nsclient++ /test

yes this is the problem I meant...

rebuild your counter indexes (a tool is avalible from MSDN you can look under FAQ here on the site for details).
