CheckFile unable to locate file in following format c:\directory\filename

Running the following from Nagios ver 2.12 and nsclient++ version 0.3.5.2. Executing a CheckFile shows on following on the client: d \NSClient++.cpp(910) Injecting: CheckFile: file=c:kenadm2.txt, filter=in, MaxCrit=3, MaxWarn=11 d \NSClient++.cpp(946) Injected Result: OK 'CheckFile ok' d \NSClient++.cpp(947) Injected Performance Result: no files found'=0;11;3; '

The file on the windows client (Windows 2003 sp2 32bit) is in the c:\ken\adm2.txt location. I have tried with "" around the file path as well as the following -a file="c:/ken\adm2.txt" as well as with . Thank you. ken

    Look in the changelog, it is a "new" thing I added because another user was having problems with the CheckFile and I did not want to break things.

    So it will at some point be documented as well...

    Where do i find CheckFile2 ? I can only see CheckFile ??

    Try using [CheckFile2] it works much like CheckEventLog (CheckFile is sort of broken)

    Works like so: 

    CheckFile2 file=c:\test\*.txt filter=in filter+creation=<24h "syntax=%filename% was created %creation%" MinWarn=0 MinCrit=0
