How to get a .exe result to report in Nagios using NSClient++ [SOLVED]

Hi Mickem,

Am running a .exe file and get some result on one of the client system. The client system has NSClient++ and we use Nagios for monitoring. Would you please guide me to how can i get the result / output that i get when i run a EXE file , that output be captured and displayed in Nagios using NSClient++.

The exe am running is "check_licenseserver".

    You most likely want to wrap the output in a batch file so you can control the output. Then you just add it as an external script and enable that module.

    This is all fairly simple and if you start off by going through the howto for nagios and then readup on the CheckExternalScripts moduule and check the supplied documentation you should have this figure in secs...
