NSClient++ Help (#1) - With new Client no more Views are shown in Centreon (Nagios). (#645) - Message List
Hi, Thank you for the good work here. With new Client no more Views are shown in Centreon (Nagios).
Those are the answers of check_nrpe.
old:
Kommandozeile /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 192.168.1.40 -p 5666 -c check_DriveSize -a 'c:' '90%' '95%'
Ausgabe OK: c:: Total: 20G - Used: 6.16G (30%) - Free: 13.8G (70%)|'c:'=30%;90;95;
Status OK
new:
Kommandozeile /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 192.168.0.29 -p 5666 -c check_DriveSize -a 'c:' '90%' '95%'
Ausgabe OK: c:: Total: 148G - Used: 21.9G (14%) - Free: 127G (86%)|'c: %'=14%;90;95; 'c:'=21.85G;133.5;140.9;0;148.;'
Status OK
Why does the old Client answer differently than the new?
Thank you for each assistance.

That is because the "new" performance data has both the %:es and the actual values. Where before you had only one of them. This was done to "stream line" the performance data handling so you get a more uniformed result (instead of different outcome depending on which arguments you use).

not sure I understand.
Is it a problem for you the new names? I would say the best thing to do is either rename your current data probe or "skip the history". There is no way to make them compatible as before the the value of "c:" could either be % or absolute values.
