362,NRPE: No output available from command, bjoern,MickeM,"Hello,

since a few days I got a problem on a customer server with the usage of a NRPE Command. It looks, that the problem is client-based, because I use the NSC.ini and the Nagios Service-Check for several servers. The OS of the affected server is Windows Server 2003 SP2. I use the NSClient in the version 0.3.5. But as I wrote, this constellation is typical in my monitored enviroment.

Nagios status-information: No output available from command

Part of the NSC.ini: check_fileage=cscript.exe //NoLogo //T:30 scripts\check_Dateialter.vbs

Part of the NSC.log: 2010-03-01 17:05:58: error:d:\documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\NSCP\branches\stable\include\execute_process.hpp:114: Failed to peek buffer: 109: Die Pipe wurde beendet. 2010-03-01 17:05:58: error:.\NRPEListener.cpp:240: The command (check_fileage) returned an invalid return code: 128

What I've done: 1) direct call of the vbs-file -> successed 2) called [cscript.exe //NoLogo //T:30 scripts\check_Dateialter.vbs] from the Windows Shell -> successed 3) Called the command check_fileage in the enviroment NSClient /test -> successed

Can anybody help me? Thank you very much.

With kind regards Björn
