Check multiple performance Counters / Wildcard Support

Hello!
Is there a way to integrate wildcard-Support for "check_nrpe -c Check Counter" to catch multiple performancecounter objects or values at once?

for example like:
'typeperf "Process(NSCLIENT++*)\% Processor Time"'

and

'typeperf "Process(NSCLIENT++)\*"'

Not currently but seems like something which could be doable... (but not in the near future)
